It started with growing up on a small family farm and a love for food.
Growing up on a small Vermont farm in the 70's, I was spoiled with the best Vermont maple syrup, dairy, meats, and produce. I learned the values of farm living and how eating foods raised free of chemicals had a direct impact on my health. I was also fortunate to have parents that loved to cook and who passed their knowledge on to me. These values are carried over into Woodstock Granola.
In the Spring of 2004 I started Woodstock Granola with four varieties. We retired two of them to the "Hall of Grain" and created three more. It's fun to create new combinations and come up with flavors that go beyond the ordinary. But, the real beauty is in the process. Our granola is micro-baked with whole foods such as oats, fruits, nuts, seeds, maple syrup, honey, and canola oil. We skip the salt and enhance the blends with complimentary spices. It’s food to chew, munch, or snack on. It’s real and honest and comfy.
